The Narcissist

I am the best, the top of the heap, The rest of you crawl, while I take the leap. You’re weak and you bend, oh, that much is clear, And that’s why I rule while you tremble in fear. Boundaries, you say? A flimsy disguise, To me, they’re just whispers, they crumble like lies. If you let me in, well, that’s on you, I do what I want, that’s what the strong do. See, in this world, it’s harsh and it’s cold, The top is for takers, the ruthless, the bold. If you’re soft, if you break, if you let down your wall, Then everything coming, well, that’s your own fall. You call it cruel, I call it the game, Step on the weak, climb higher with fame. I tear down the average, the simple, the meek, Because that’s how power is made by the sleek. You didn’t fight back, you didn’t stand tall, So don’t blame me now, when you start to fall. It’s not my fault, it’s the law of the land, If you’re not strong, you’re crushed underhand. In this big, bad world, it’s not nice, it’s not sweet, It’s about who you serve and whose hand you’ll greet. So if you think it’s unfair, that’s not my concern, The weak are just lessons the strong never learn. So here’s the hard truth, and here’s what I know, If you don’t fight back, you’re part of the show. Your pain, your fall, it’s nothing to me Just proof that the strong will always be free.

Egg Distribution

In a meadow so wide, where the flowers grew tall, Lived a golden goose, the wisest of all. Her feathers did shine with a marvelous glow, But it wasn’t her looks that made her well-known. Each day, she would lay eggs of purest gold, And gather them carefully, so bright to behold. Instead of just keeping them safe in her nest, She’d take them to market, she thought it was best. “Come buy my gold eggs!” she’d call with a cheer, And people would flock from both far and near. She sold them for riches, for diamonds and rings, But deep in her heart, she longed for more things. With treasures in hand, she’d gaze at the sky, And wonder if wealth made her truly fly. For the more that she earned, the less that she felt, Her joy seemed to fade as her gold eggs did melt. One day in a dream, she met a wise owl, Who hooted and spoke in a voice strong but foul. “Dear Goose, you have riches, but do you have peace? Does gold make you whole, or does your longing increase?” The Goose thought it over and sighed with a tear, For she realized her fortune had cost her so dear. She’d traded her heart for treasures so bright, Yet lost in the bargain the joy of pure light. So, she kept one egg, but shared all the rest, Giving freely to others, her heart felt so blessed. And the more that she gave, the more that she grew, Her spirit was light, her purpose now true. Moral of the story: It’s not what you gather, but what you let go, That feeds the true wealth inside you to grow. In giving, we find the treasures that stay, For gold fades away, but love lights the way. Spiritual lesson: True abundance flows not from what we possess, but from the peace and joy we cultivate within, through selflessness and love.

Free Bird

A sparrow came to play one day, he landed on my finger. His heart song was so beautiful, the music it did linger. I want him to stay with me forever in my sight, but when he’d finished singing, the little bird took flight.  Though he has flown beyond my sight, His song remains, in me. In letting go, I came to see, The sparrow’s joy was meant to be.   For in release, the heart does grow, we find the peace sublime. But if we hold so tight in fear the soul will NOT align.

The Timeless Wanderer

In shadows deep where echoes play,An ancient soul roamed night and day.A wanderer, wise, with secrets vast,Of alchemy and lives long past. In each new form, a bitter tale,A lover’s wrath, a cruelest trail.Stalked and scarred, through ages’ veil,Tortured, killed, a sorrowed wail. Reborn again in realms unknown,Fragments of the past he’d own.Till memories stirred, a name reclaimed,In twilight’s edge, the truth inflamed. With cunning steps, he slipped the snare,A sacrifice he would not bear.Awakened now, his power bright,In shadows cast, he found his light. One by one, he faced the foe,Manipulators met their woe.Energetic chains undone,The ancient battle finally won. Threads of fate he deftly cut,The bitter past, now firmly shut.Free at last from time’s cruel dance,In light and joy, his true romance. Emerging strong, his north node found,In happiness, his life unbound. The wanderer, in daylight’s grace,Forever free in love’s embrace.

Balance

Balance – Poem by David Moylan When I think about forever, and what it has to hold, In my limited imagination, a story does unfold. A dance of cosmic balance, where light and shadow meet, In harmony they waltz around, partners sure of feet. The sun and moon in tandem, sharing sky and sea, A rhythm of existence, as nature’s symphony. Mountains rise in grandeur, while valleys dip in grace, Each peak and hollow evidence, of gods eternal embrace. The storm and calm together, a cycle ever true, Teaching us that balance is found in all we do. Joy and sorrow mingling, lessons to impart, The balance of emotions, the symphony of the heart. For in the quiet moments, where stillness meets the sound, We find the gentle balance, where peace is truly found. So when I think about forever, and what it has to hold, I see a world in balance, a story yet untold.

Karmic Theives

In shadows dwell the karmic thieves,They siphon hope like fallen leaves. With smiles that charm, they draw you near,Whispering doubts, instilling fear. They steal your light to feed their need,On your bright soul, these vampires feed. From lover’s arms, they take what’s yours,Swapping fates behind closed doors. Destiny dances in their grip,As they through others’ dreams do slip. With stolen strength, they woo and sway,Trading paths, they lead astray. But guard your spirit, hold it tight,In love’s pure glow, reclaim your light.Set firm your boundaries, heed the call,Break free, and rise above it all.

The Journey

The Journey I am happy to be in here in life, to blossom and to grow. Regardless of the challenges, cause life is HARD ya know 🤷‍♂️. Some days it’s nice and easy and everything is great. The next you know it’s chaos, and life makes you irate. Some days you’re stuck in limbo, and swimming in your head. The disempowering ego, with pain, and fears, and dread. Then you start to look inside, to find out what is there. Examining the feelings, with tender loving care. Shattering illusions, that held you in a cage. Until the day you done the work, proud, fearless, strong and brave. Now you have the real tools, to make your future yours. The inward special alchemy, that heals, transcends and cures. Now you journey onwards, more challenging than before. The lesson that you need to learn, is YOU ARE SO MUCH MORE!!!! The journey is expansion, and everything is one. The universe is in us, when all is said and done. David Moylan
