It’s funny how we look at the genie, the jinn, or the dragon in stories, like in Aladdin, as some sort of external force,
The Wish Master a movie where he is represents the trickster or a grim devilish figure who grants wishes only to twist and distort them into some kind of doomed wish fulfillment.
In Aladdin we expect freedom when the genie is released, yet the genie 🧞♂️ in many stories often doesn’t want to leave. Why? Because maybe God the dragon, the jinn, or the genie, whatever form it takes is not just an enemy or a curse, but a guardian, a teacher, a reflection of something deeper.
We see God answering prayers like a genie too, granting wishes, and we call it miracles, but somehow he manages on getting it right, even if it’s not the way we expect.
The gifts are often wrapped in mystery or hardship, disguised in ways that demand patience and trust, offering us not what we ask for, but what we truly need. So what is the difference between the devilish genie and the divine answer?
It’s all in how we frame it!!! our perspective 🧐 is the lens through which we view the reality of the movie 🎥 🍿.
God or the dragon can be our tormentor or our guardian. It can be the painful teacher that shapes us, the force that we try to capture and command, or the presence we respect and honor.
But no matter how we engage with it, God the dragon, the genie, the jinn, they are inseparable from us.
Because in the end, there is no way to be free from it, not because we are trapped, but because it is us. The struggle, the desire, the pain, the transformation, they all live inside.
The dragon 🐉 force is the guardian, the prisoner, and the key all at once. It is a trinity all on its own.
Embracing this paradox changes everything. It invites us to stop fighting for freedom from ourselves and instead learn to live with the dragon, to understand it, to honor its wisdom, even when it teaches through pain.
In this dance, we find a new kind of freedom, the freedom of acceptance, the freedom of seeing the divine complexity ignited within our own fire 🔥 of life.
