James 2:1-3 (NIV) reads

1. “My brothers and sisters, believers in our glorious Lord Jesus Christ must not show favoritism.”

2. “Suppose a man comes into your meeting wearing a gold ring and fine clothes, and a poor man in filthy old clothes also comes in.”

3. “If you show special attention to the man wearing fine clothes and say, ‘Here’s a good seat for you,’ but say to the poor man, ‘You stand there’ or ‘Sit on the floor by my feet,’”

These verses warn against showing partiality or favoritism, particularly based on wealth or appearance, reminding believers that all people should be treated with equal dignity and respect.

Many churches today are run like money making factories. We are a human family and deserve inclusion in all things big and small.

Many Churches of this land claim to love and serve Jesus Christ, So called Brothers of Light, and Carriers of the Eternal Flame And Don’t Forget Mother Ghia (She who’s name should not be uttered inside church walls)

Welcome to the so called established Church of Christ, where we believe in faith, family, and will throw you an occasional fig (if you’ve been paying attention and manage to back us into a corner).

But that’s not all! the Brothers of so called Light, noble keepers of good vibes and potluck recipes, as well as the Carriers of the Eternal Flame, the group responsible for keeping the spirit alive in such gloomy times… and for lighting the church barbecue, very important,

Small print warning shaking hands is at your own risk, energy transfer is real and can be used as a tool by the gifted to humble the average.

And of course, let’s not forget Mother Ghia, the unsung hero, quietly making sure we don’t leave our recyclables in the wrong bin. Sustainability is a divine calling, after all.

Come for the sermons, stay for the snacks, and please don’t praise Mother Ghia out loud the bishopric won’t like it! And you could face discrimination and disciplinary action.

Much love and light
